Project Scope: 

In this luxury hotel the regulation of the chilled water and the management of the whole air conditioning system is entrusted to PICV Caleffi 145 and 146 Series. Each single unit operation can be modulated by the BMS in order to achieve the maximum efficiency possible. The comfort and the safety in the plumbing system is ensured by the presence of Caleffi 535536 and 576 Series Pressure Reducing Valves. To regulate the domestic water temperature and the management of the thermal disinfection of the whole system, the LEGIOMIX 6000 series electronic mixing valves was chosen. Each unit, furthermore, is set to carry the thermal disinfection of the system with scheduled timing and temperature. This way the users are protected from Legionella bacteria and the system is considered safe. Pressure independent control valves (PICV) are automatic flow rate regulators and control valves, installed in HVAC systems. They modulate the flow rate according to the actual load of the circuit where they are installed, ensuring accuracy, comfort and energy saving. Deaerators-dirt separators are used to continuously eliminate the air and dirt contained in the hydraulic circuits of cooling systems, enabling the equipment to operate free from any noise, corrosion or mechanical damage. Pressure reducing valves are devices that reduce and stabilise the pressure of the water entering from the main network, ensuring safety and stability to the final users. Electronic mixing valves with programmable thermal disinfection guarantee and maintain the temperature of the domestic hot water delivered to the users. They control all the settings and also manage circuit thermal disinfection against Legionella bacteria.
